Nanthia Suthana, PhD, and her team have joined the Duke Department of Neurosurgery. Suthana specializes in studying the neural mechanisms of cognition and behavior in naturalistic settings. She develops and applies invasive neuroimaging and electrophysiology techniques, including mobile intracranial recordings and deep brain stimulation, to investigate memory, spatial navigation, and neurostimulation-based therapies.
At Duke, Dr. Suthana aims to advance translational neuroengineering and interdisciplinary collaborations to develop novel therapies for neurological and psychiatric disorders.
